Where Is Garza Blanca Cancun?
Nestled just past the lively hotel zone, on the border of Costa Mujeres, Garza Blanca is perfectly situated for those looking to escape the typical crowds of Cancun. It’s about a 30-minute drive from Cancun International Airport, and while it’s a bit isolated from outside dining venues, this seclusion is exactly what makes it a tranquil haven. And there’s plenty of dining options on-site between the two resorts!
Is Garza Blanca Cancun All-Inclusive?
Yes, and no. At Garza Blanca Cancun, you have a choice between room-only or an all-inclusive option. This gives you full flexibility depending on how you like to vacation. A family of 5 should opt for the all-inclusive package because it will end up being more cost effective in the long run, however a couple who primarily eats once per day may find a room-only rate to be much more cost effective. You can add-on the all-inclusive package at the resort directly, however it’s almost always cheaper to book your room with the all-inclusive package from the start.
The Rooms and Suites
Speaking of rooms, the rooms here aren’t just places to sleep; they’re mini sanctuaries. From the advanced Toto toilets with heated seats and bidet functions, to the spacious layouts with luxurious bathtubs and hammocks on every balcony, these rooms are designed to pamper.
The suites here can range from one to three bedrooms, each progressively more lavish. The three-bedroom suites are particularly grand, offering perks such as a private chef for breakfast or dinner (every three nights)—a little touch of extravagance that makes all the difference.
Food and Dining at Garza Blanca Cancun
Garza Blanca offers numerous delicious food options, ranging from buffet style breakfasts, to a food hall, and unique ala carte restaurants. The Food Hall at Garza Blanca has five specialty kitchens (Humo, Trompo, Forno Station, La Panga, and Wok Wok—plus a Coffee Bar) that serve food in a food-court like space. They also have breakfast in there which is usually a buffet and then a dinner buffet from the different stations. The food hall really redefines resort dining from the traditional nightly buffet concepts.
It’s important to note, though, that some special dishes and drinks might have an additional charge on the all-inclusive package, so it’s worth checking first if you’re keeping to a budget.
For some more special nights, consider booking a table at one of the 4 premium restaurants where the setting is really as much a focus as the food. These spots offer a more intimate dining experience and are a perfect excuse to dress up for dinner! My favorite’s here are going to be Hiroshi, because my wife is absolutely addicted to sushi. They have a very creative menu that makes it vastly different from the average sushi restaurant. And then Blanca Blue. They make a delicious grilled octopus and their marinated pork (conchinita pibil) is also delicious.
In addition to all these options, you also get full access to the dining options at Villa del Palmar, AND adults can also access NOI at Hotel Mousai.
Also don’t forget to check out the food truck by the beach, and for the Starbucks fans – there is a mini market on site that serves Starbucks for an additional cost!
Leisure and Amenities
One of the standout features at Garza Blanca is its inflatable water park in the ocean. It’s not something you see every day and is a huge hit with families and adventure-seekers alike. There is also a carousel that lights up at night and is open from 6-10pm for kids and adults. It really adds a whimsical touch, making every night feel magical. And there’s not many resorts with a full-size carousel!
Garza Blanca Cancun has a good selection of pools also. Featuring 1 Main Infinity Pool with a swim-up bar. 1 Central Pool with an acrylic front wall that’s perfect for selfies! 1 Hammock Pool with an above-water hammock area for relaxing. 1 Adults-Only Pool located at the resort’s exclusive rooftop, where you will get to enjoy premium beverages, exquisite dishes, and these stunning ocean views.
For relaxation, the spa at Garza Blanca is a sanctuary of calm. With treatments inspired by ancient traditions and modern wellness techniques, it’s a place to rejuvenate mind, body, and soul.
